Xda members have created a bounty for a working root on AT&T/Verizon variants of the Samsung Galaxy S5, the total combined reward as of 5/15 8:24 PM EST is $12,502.00. Pretty hefty paycheck if someone can manage to crack the locked bootloader. And btw, I am not new to this site, I visit here everyday I just rarely post anything. Thought I'd get this out to as many people as possible.

Those are pledges not donations for the person who cracks it. A simple 3 key strokes can make it seem like you are giving 400 dollars. Sadly, most if not all of those pledges won't give the money when the time comes because there is no legally binding contract involved in this as you would see in REAL pledge based systems.
