I'd be interested to know if "Finals" exams are similar to "A Level" exams in the UK.

A Levels are commonly used to get into university, with better grades usually meaning you can go on a course at a higher ranked uni etc...

I'm graduating high school this year and will be going to Rowan University for General Engineering (Not sure specifically which type of engineering I want to get into but I'll decide later on). I'm pretty excited, it's supposed to be a really good school for engineering, it's ranked #5 in my state (NJ).

Class of 2013 here, I never posted on last years topic, but congratulations to all the past, present, and future Graduates! It's a huge step in your lives.




I took a year off for personal reasons regarding family but this Fall I will be attending Rose Hulman Institute of Technology (aka Fighting Engineers, ogod why) with a focus on Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a future hope of becoming a Pharmacist. This is a big step for me and took a lot of hard work and studying but I'm happy to say I'm here now and I'm very happy to be going to RH, as it was the school of choice for me since freshman year.
