So I have the Corsair 200R (Case)

It came with two stock fans, and I have 4 more being shipped from amazon now.

I know about the negative pressure thing. I am gonna exhaust from the back and top.

I already have 1 fan in the from the front bringing in air, and 1 exhausting from the back.

I have two places for fans on the side, should that be intake or exhaust, I am a bit stumped on which to do on the side.

Heat always rises
do what you want dude, if you want to it is your computer, experiment with things to see what gets the best results.
I think that unless it is a windowed case side panel fans are ok, if it is a side panel then nah.

I second Terrabytez

It took me quite a while to figure out the best airflow for my case & setup. Turns out the best is air coming in from the back and coming out at the front

But yeah, ideally you want it so at least 1 fan in the front, 1 as rear exhaust and 1 or 2 top. Also, I think positive air pressure is better due to the lest dust but this is not proven.

It fully depends on your build

Air goes where you push it and fans blowing the air make the tendency of hot air to rise completely negligible. Make all of the fans intake and the hot air will be pushed out the back of the case. The 200R has lots of perforations at the back so it's a good case for this kind of fan setup and you can make it even better by removing PCI slot covers.

I would use all mounts except the rear as intakes with the largest fans that will fit.

Thermalright TY-14X fans are very cheap (in the UK), very good, and use 120mm mounts.
