I put 3 periods at the end of a lot of things because you can use them to emphasize sarcasm.

I do it occasionally, the reason being could be because :
I'm making an awkward pause
Being sarcastic
Making a dramatic end
Or simply because I prefer to use it than a comma or full stop...

And ... Doesn't count towards the post limit so it really makes no diference
