Do you think the NSA watches you? Do you care if they watch you? Personally I don't care if they watch me, I am not a terrorist of any sorts and if it can save just one persons life, then the agency would be effective in my opinion. What's yours?

they could watch you all the time, but they can't you can't watch everyone in the world at the same time, but you are being watched for sure..

I actually had a laugh while reading this.. Sorry.
But back on topic: Do you really think they do so?
I mean there must be a system in which they flag certain individuals according to stored cookies/ meta data and monitor those individuals but perhaps not there every move. Think about the amount of money it require to do so, energy bills, hardware maintenance and so many other factors that would make such a thing very ineffective. In a nutshell no they are most likely not watching your every move because it is not convenient for them in many ways.

You believe that if one life is saved, then it is a success. I believe if one life is taken, then it is a failure. I'm not a terrorist either, but I do care. It's not really about me, I hate that they even have the power to collect on anyone without cause or reason. They don't watch us all, they just collect it all for future references.
It all can be used for blackmail under the right circumstances. Let's say you get into a position of power and have a completely different view on how to run things than the rest of the government. They then can take that information they have and threaten you with your personal information.
They can also, potentially, end up accurately predicting your next moves based on the information they have on you. We are creatures of habit after all. I just see nothing good in the long run with this data collection.
