Okay so the outbursts of angry Subway lovers swarmed my news feed today
Why? Because they have banned ham and bacon due to complaints of the Muslim community

I personally do not agree with this, as they aren't forced to have ham and bacon on their subs, but they wouldn't settle until all ham and bacon was exiled from the UK Subway chains

Post your opinions

As much as I respect every human. One culture should not override another.

If our culture was to go into theirs and say we want ham and bacon in your food outlets because we are allowed it, im pretty sure that would be shot down in flames.

We are a world and should not be brought down to "This is our country" arguements but that is the way it is heading.

Instead of removing it from the menu they should have a muslim prep area.
Why alienate your majority customer base for outsider consideration?
I know alot of "muslims" that no longer abide by their religious food commands.
Its getting to a point where there will be riots

I totally agree with you, i can see why a large majority of british people hate muslims. Its a disgrace.

I agree so much with your point, it is as if religions are trying to compete in who are more superior. I am an atheist, I respect the idea of religion but doing something that will interfere with others outside their religion is wrong. However I am deeply disappointed in the fact that Subway are bending over backwards for Muslims purely because they make it seem such a sensitive subject. I think if something isn't done, a lot more changes will happen (I am speaking for the worst when I say this)

Although I hate what subway did, I blame Subways because they made a stupid move. It's their choice and yet they did it. No more subways for me.

The annoying thing about this is that the muslim community now think they have power. As a result, i imagine subway wont be the only place they target. I think if muslims want to come into our country they should follow our ways, if not (no offense intended) Go back to your own country?

you are actually taking the p**s now, not allowing us to eat our own produce on our own country. They need to stop the big barriers for immigration, it has been getting out of hand.

I am not being rasist, but this has to stop.

I agree with both sides here. It is nobody's country but the majority of the country speaks English and follows English traditions, but we are slowly losing these traditions. I walked into my local town centre once to see a Polski (Polish) shop, it looked appealing so I went inside. However they did not serve me purely because I am British this obviously prompted anger as I was disallowed to buy an item because I was British. On the other hand British shops like Tesco and Argos for example are happy to serve any religion, race or nationality so why shouldn't they?

I am sorry if this offended anybody, we are treading lightly because it is a sensitive subject but my point had to be displayed
