The rest of the human population will generally look down on them - why? Because it's weird.

Here's a question to you bronies out there - what do your parents truly think? Are they happy with their teenage sons buying little pink and purple stuffed ponies and spending their days watching a TV show made for 6 year old girls?

Again, sorry to offend anyone or seem arrogant. But this really annoys me. There isn't anything you can say that will change my mind on this matter.

Can you honestly look at this picture and not think 'what the f-?'.

My parents know and honestly don't mind it. Why? because they know it doesn't control my life. In fact, i'm not even nearly obsessed with mlp because i'm behind like 7 weeks of episodes. I enjoy the show, and I enjoy the fandom, that does not mean that I am a fat no life person who doesn't do anything or have no social life. People seem to correlate one thing with another when it's just silly arrogance on their part. I have had multiple girlfriends and could get another if I really wanted to, but I am not looking for one at the moment because since i'm going off to college soon, it'd more than likely be a waste of time on both of our parts.

The point i'm trying to make is, don't assume just because someone likes something different than you'd want to watch that they instantly are the scum of the earth. That, and just because that particular individual has a plethora of mlp merchandise, that doesn't mean that EVERY SINGLE BRONY on the face of the earth does.

I apologize for the wall of text, I just find it silly when people make statements without any true justification besides being closed minded about how people should and shouldn't be in this world.

I think it is quite weird, but they can like what they want

People call me weird for riding a BMX bike, which is essentially a kids bike.
People will hate on everyone and everything, it is just how people are. Do what you want in life, don't let anybody tell you otherwise and don't look back.

I couldn't care less that adults watch the show, but I get mad at their fanbase for the same reason as everybody else.

You honestly do not need to come on this forum and change your profile picture, bio, and name all to have some sort of MLP thing to it. I love Naruto, like absolutely love it, one of the biggest fans, but you seriously do not see me going around changing my stuff to have Naruto in it. I know its your choice and all, but it ISNT NECESSARY. Nobody cares what show you watch, so you don't need to *try* to get people to care by changing everything to have it, instead all you have to do is choose a regular name, maybe say something like 'I'm a brony' in your bio, and a regular profile pic. You literally do not have to have the name 'xfluttershybronyx' and the bio 'im a brony, brohoof to all other bronies, rainbow dash is the best pony' and a profile picture of some random pony. It isn't necessary.

The same that this applies for is furries. I go on Ifunny a lot, and majority of the time if you find a furry picture, which shouldn't even be POSTED on it because it is an app for comedy, you will see that whoever posted it has the name of like "Darkwolf" with the bio of "Im a proud furry" and a picture of some furry art. Nobody cares what you are. Leave it be and do whats normal and just chose a regular picture, and put "I'm a furry." in your bio. Again, like how I stated above, it isn't necessary to have all those things.

I don't care what people watch, but don't go spreading it around like some kind of disease.

Why are people hating on the original poster? It's a rant, he's allowed to rant about it. He has an opinion and he's aloud to share it.
