If you start a lobby yourself, you'll be the host, and when the game starts and you pick a class, then you see it say "randomgamertag" connected, then you'll be host.

i was asking in like playermatch games or wager match sort of but that helps also do you know?

- you are the first one join the game ( when it starts )

- you always have 4 bars

- you kill people faster ( thats why ppl rage "host connection" )

- it takes 1 or more bullets to kill you ( thats why ppl rage "host connection" )

ok this is the true way of knowing if your host.

- When the game starts and you pick a class, the counter should start up, for example, it will say
"starting game in 5,4,3,2,1.. and then you can start moving....press "select" or the "back" button on your controller. you will see that everyone one has either 1-2 yellow bars as their connection..( connection are shown in bars next to the assist points) except for 1 person that will have a full green 3-4 bars. that person will be the host for the whole game unless they decide to quit or if their connection becomes too laggy and the server picks a new host.

you gotta look at it during that time when the clock is counting down because is the only time you will ever see who is the host. after a few seconds into the game, everyone's connection will be almost the same ( all green bars) so you cant tell the difference after this time.
