Your stats and your leaderboard records do not affect your rank in any way. Leaderboards only show your highest round achieved, kills.... Etc obviously . Just because you made it to 79 once it doesn't mean you get to that high of a round every single game you play. If you did , you would have a higher rank. When jimmy z said rank is alive that means the game keeps track of your downs and rounds . If you don't do well and move outside those perameters then you won't rank up.

Can you explain the reason why opening doors or miles ran would affect rank? Every stat can be manipulated meaning there is an easy way to gain more of each stat which is why treyarch did not have rank connected to them. Instead they went off of how a good zombie player should play: high rounds every time and not going down very much.

It's a bunch of games like that In a row not over all, If you got to 79 on origins say In January and got to 70 on Die Rise In february, got to 66 on Buried In March then you won't rank up because of all the games played in between

It's a bunch of games like that In a row not over all, If you got to 79 on origins say In January and got to 70 on Die Rise In february, got to 66 on Buried In March then you won't rank up because of all the games played in between

Exactly what I'm saying . Buried is the easiest map to rank up on. Not by sitting in a glitch because that requires no skill but if you camp in the Jugg alley with the AN-94 and LSAT pap till 30 and then have a trample steam and
sub sonic resonator after 30 there should be no reason you can't get to 40 like that.
