In my opinion I felt as if New Vegas was more of a DLC. Don't get me wrong it's a amazing game everything was great about it but the gameplay I was experiencing didn't have that wasteland experience like what FO3 had. Tell me what you guys think

Yeah I agree with you 100%.
It was a great game but didn't feel much different from FO3.
FO4 should be amazing though.

It was better than FO3, but I still wasn't getting a feel of it.

I enjoyed Fallout 3 a lot more than New Vegas.
I agree Fallout 3 had more of a wasteland feel.
Overall though, both games are great and worth the money.

Hey there,FNV and FO3 are both cracking games and I personally enjoy them equally,i also welcome the differences that there are between the two games.
I find it refreshing,after spending a few game day's in the DC nuclear wasteland ruins of the east coast to be able to transport myself across to the less affected west coast Mojave Desert that is now New Vegas.
As Lia stated in her post both games are worth the money.

Fallout new vegas is a great game but I think it's a bit cheesy how when you complete the main storyline you have to restart at the last checkpoint before the dam and not carry on after the battle at the dam
That's why personal fallout 3 is the better game because it's constant hours of fun (after) you complete the main storyline but still... Both very good games

Both games had there pros and cons... I love both games to death but I did enjoy New Vegas more!
Fallout 3:
Pros - Better wasteland, deeper story, better apocalyptic feel.
Cons - Less customization (unless on PC), too dark in some places ect...
New Vegas:
Pros - Vast wasteland (not better than FO3), Customization, Better weapons and groups of people
Cons - No fun metros to explore, story wasn't that good, less of a depressing wasteland feel
Fallout 3:

I enjoyed them both for different reasons they are both my favorite games and I hope that Fallout 4 will bring the best aspects of both games into one mega awesome game that will consume my life (in a good way)

I always feel like the only person on earth that enjoyed NV better than 3. I always rushed through 3 as I never liked it as much. I like how NV had more civil places than 3. I always Liked talking with the AI. 3 just seemed like it had less civilization. But the begininnging of it was the best I've seen in any game I've ever played. Nv was good too though at the begininnging

My take on FO:NV is that the game REALLY lacks the 'wastelandy' feel.
And I personally think those DLC's sucked!
