"This generation" of kids/teens are hardly different that any other.
The only difference is that we have social media to document everything.

I'm 15 and I don't like our generation either, I used to go out a lot with my friends but I drifted away from that because of all the things that they started to do.

Personally I think this generation of kids is **** up most 13/14 year old kids are are having sex and smoking and stuff which is pretty stupid considering their age, its horrible.

That's what happens when the people that everyone watches and the people that set fashion trends and what no, all act this way...

Impressionable people want to stay 'hip' and whatnot, and in the process of them doing that, our entire generation will be known as the 'generation that screwed it all up.'

I feel that this generation of kids/teens are smarter than any other. Contrary to other generations, we're becoming more inclusive of all races and cultures. There are also so many stories of kids from our generation that are creating amazing apps, creating new technology and making incredible discoveries in science. Today, the amount of people enrolled in post-secondary education has increased, and honestly, we're realizing more and more of the problems that exist in this world. We're becoming more aware of the environment, and climate change, which other generations caused and didn't really care about. We're trying to solve problems that face humanity, and honestly, as a whole, humanity is smarter than it was 200, 100, or even 50 years ago. To all the people that are saying kids are apparently having sex at 12/13 years old, how old were Romeo and Juliet roughly 500 years ago? Just because a small portion of kids are doing stupid stuff doesn't mean our generation as a whole is more stupid, as to be honest, humanity as a whole has done some pretty stupid stuff in the past. Saying that our generation is stupid is something that every generation does, until the new generation thinks they're stupid, and so on and so forth. Fourty years from now, you'll probably look at the world and think of how great our generation has become.
