I hate kids that cut and then say it not theyre fauly bi--h nobody told you to slit your wrists i think they need to learn to cope with ish or find a new way to get attention

A nice number of kids have a problem with cutting. I think once he started to get upset, you should have backed off and/or apologized. If someone is that emotional, you need to take a more understanding approach to it. If not, you end up with situations like that.

I don't have a problem with cutting, well, i do but it does not affect my life only the person that does the cutting's life gets affected. I just hate when people cut then jump around like its some sort of Achievement, ugh.

Firstly, that wasn't harassment but it was uncalled for. You shouldn't talk down to people who cut themselves, you're no better just because you haven't/don't self harm. Secondly, he should be suspended for having a dangerous weapon in school..

Anyway, I, myself, used to cut. I done it for self harming, but I also cut as a suicide attempt, to actually try and kill myself from blood loss. I cut my legs and chest, as well as the top of my arms. I cut where no one would be able to see. I can't explain the feeling, but it makes you feel so much better when you're upset/depressed. I actually tried to kill myself by doing it one night and sliced my wrist to shreds, it was a mess. I still hide my wrists to this day because of that. My scars have faded a lot now and they're hard to see unless you look for them but I still hide my wrists because I'm ashamed. It's been almost a year since I last cut now.

I do see where you are coming from though, I hate people who cut themselves for attention. I understand some people need attention, maybe they're in an unsuitable home and need taken out so resort to cutting. But, I can't stand the stupid little girls with perfect lives who cut themselves because One Direction didn't sign their poster or some sh*t, or because their boyfriend broke up with them, even though they're 12 years old. It's pathetic. My ex was like this and so was her stupid, little friend. They'd always boast about how they cut themselves and sh*t, would drive me nuts. If someone cuts themselves because they're depressed or truly want to die, they don't boast about it, they hide it because they're ashamed and I know this from experience.

They made me apologize....IMO, making someone apologize isn't as sincere as saying it on your own terms.

I never understood people cutting themselves. You shouldn't be mad at the kid. He needs help.

I'm with you. It doesn't make since, if someone made fun of me, I wouldn't go home and cut myself. How does that help or solve anything? I do not understand at all, one bit. I'm not them, so maybe they have an explanation. Even if there were one, I still wouldn't understand. I'd never cut myself on purpose.

Well, I personally think you are dumb. Jesus, people are so judgmental and moronic these days. You can't simply say people who self harm are "dumb", just because they self harm. Many people do it because they are being bullied, have a bad life at home or can't cope with something. Some people can't cope with stress, some can't cope with the loss of a loved one. Would you call someone "dumb" because they couldn't cope with their father's death? No, of course not. Sometimes, people lose someone very close to them, they cut because they're upset and feeling physical pain for that hour or 2(however long it lasts for them, personally) blocks out the emotional pain. Sometimes, it's not even about self harming. Sometimes, people cut because they want to open up a vein and lose enough blood to die. Sometimes, it's a scream for help.

Don't be so narrow minded and pathetic. If you're going to say something rude, then stop yourself. Just don't post it, leave the topic and go to another topic/section/forum. No need for negativity or rudeness.

Alot of people do self harm as a cry for attention, But then again some of them are seriously depressed so you never know.
