I'm building a gaming PC and have a question about these two processors. I here amazing things about both, and I know the 4390k is incredible for rendering, but as more of a Gamer and occasional Twitch streamer, would you suggest the 4770k over the 4390k? Is the 4390k graphically more advanced? And which one will serve me better in the next 5+ years of gaming evolution?

If it helps, my other specs are going to include a GTX 780 EVGA Superclocked card, and well as 16 gbs of ram, and 850w power supply, a hydro water cooling system, and a 2Tb HDD.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Don't bother with the 4930K for your purposes. Save your $250 and put it toward future upgrades or something.

You don't need or want an 850w PSU unless you'll be adding a second 780. A good 550w unit will be more than enough.

High end air coolers are still much better for the price than sealed liquid coolers.

you what pal

And which one will serve me better in the next 5+ years of gaming evolution?

Of course the faster one will, but put the money you save toward an earlier upgrade and you'll be better-off anyway.

The only reason I got the 850w was because I got a free upgrade to it. There was some deal going on at the site I bought them off of where if you got a 650w PSU they'ed upgrade you free of charge to a 850. Thinking ahead, like you said, in case I may add a graphics card, I went ahead and took it. As for the hydro cooling, I have always felt better about hydro cooling verses high performance air cooling. I also like their performance better.

Thanks for your reply man. Helped me a lot with the questions I had. +rep.
