My Xbox has been doing this for awhile now but recently it won't read anything at all. I open and close my tray 999999999999 times and maybe I'll get lucky and the game will finally read. I know it has something to do with the laser or whatever it's called inside the Xbox that actually reads the disc. And yes I have tried blowing in the Xbox but nothing seems to help.
If you know anything I can do to fix this please post! Thank you and your help is much appreciated.

I suggest replacing the laser itself. Or you can take it to a local Gamestop or something and see if they'll fix it.

your disc tray laser is broken i think its time for you to get a new Xbox 360 samething happen to me and to fix it, it will cost the same price you could buy a new Xbox 360 with so get a new Xbox 360 if i was you.

I would recommend getting a new console. You could try cleaning the discs, using a cleaner disc if you have one, or just continue opening and closing the tray. That's all I know to do at this point. Once they go out they go out.

Yeah I have the original white Xbox 360 that came with Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda haha. But do you think a simple thing like the can of air you can spray like keyboards and stuff would possibly work?

samething happened to me you need to replace the disk tray or just buy a new console thats the only two things you can do since your lazer is broken

I know this sound different but beating on the top of the xbox where the laser is sometimes works!
