OK so I modded my save and I noticed I have negative gold. Does anyone know a solution for this or maybe can mod my save so I no longer have negative gold?

Don't mod your money past 2147483647. That is the maximum anything can run. So just put it down to around 1.3 million which is nice because that is what I am at.
