The monitor goes by the name "ASUS VS24AH-P 24 Class Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor"

I'm looking to get a monitor for PC gaming and also XBOX. Which isn't going to cost a lot of money! And I was just curious if a few people could help me out on whether or not this is a good idea to purchase or not.

***THIS POST HAS BEEN UPDATED BECAUSE I'VE CHANGED THE MONITOR***

for gaming I would be looking for a 2ms response time rather than 4ms. Not a huge difference but might be worth looking into.

You're probably asking in the wrong section for this.
Go ask the guys in the PC section, they'll give you a more detailed diagnosis on it.

Anything under 7ms is basically unnoticeable.

The refresh rate is 4ms which isn't horrible but could be better. The reviews aren't too shaby as well. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I would recommend going with the BENQ one, the refresh time is too high for you to have a enjoyable gaming experience in my opinion.
