cut out the ricey LEDs and then we're talking. I've always seen bitcoin mining computers as a waste of high priced hardware. How do games look on that monitor? Do they span the entire screen, or leave black bars on the side so the game doesn't look like it was stretched out?

Regardless, you spent a lot of money and I can tell you know what you're doing. I feel like you could have gotten at least one dual cpu rig had you spent a little bit differently, but both of these are beasts..

Some parts are from previous builds(like those horrible blue fans) thats why some of the stuff seems a little out of the ordinary. As for the monitor the only game that has not fit my resolution(2560x1080) is state of decay but I was able to find a fix in five minutes.

I am not going to comment on your and build, just your gaming build. If you think it is good and you like it, then fair enough.

Personally, I do not like your gaming rig, at all. It's over-kill. Their is no need for a GTX 780Ti GPU or even an i7 processor. If it suits you then that's good but if it was me, I'd have settled for an i3 with a Radeon R9 270X GPU. Also, why 32GB of RAM? That will mostly go unused, 8GB of RAM is more than enough for a gaming rig. The monitor is too wide for my liking but I suppose it looks quite nice. I find it hard to believe you will use 6TB of memory but I suppose if you're that into gaming, it's good to have a lot of storage space. Also, I'm glad to see you have an SSD. I hardly ever see builds with SSD's, even though they perform much faster and smoother at a decent price.

780 Ti is a great card and won't need upgrading while in a few years, the 270X may need to be replaced.
i3's are slow compared to i5's, which are the CPU's of choice for gaming and everyday use.
32GB RAM, have a 16GB RAM Disc.

Had a nice giggle at the dude saying he'd trade a i7 and 780Ti for a i3 & 270X.

I don't think either of you understood what I meant. I understand that the 780Ti is a great card, in fact, it's one of the greatest cards you can get at the moment. What I meant is that if I was building a PC, I would just stick with an i3 and an R9 270X as they would do what I'd want them to. An i3 isn't a bad CPU at all. Of course, the i5 and the i7 is better but the i3 is still a good processor. The R9 270X is a great GPU which would do the job. I just meant that his build is quite a waste of money IMO. If it was me, I'd have gone with a cheaper build and used parts which would do the job(i3 and R9 270X).

Yeah I got what you meant but an i3 and 270X wouldn't want to make me whack a nice cooler on it, or get high end parts so i wouldn't want to show it off. SO it would be a solid build to put in a small case under the desk but I would not call it a enthusiast build.
