I have the 13 inch and it runs pretty well, but it can have its bad days. Keep in mind I used to pirate software a lot and I have had it for 3 years.

I would say 13 because 13.3 is not really an upgrade so just go for the 13.

I wouldn't get a Mac dude, you could get a way better setup for that price. And maybe go towards a gaming one, they're fast and you can do schoolwork, and play games :p

but i already have a decent desktop and ive never had a mac an always wanted one

I Have the 2011 Macbook Pro 13 Inch and i must say its a fantastic laptop , comes stock with 4gb ram upgradable to max of 8gb ram so its a good mac i say get the 13 > 25

I have a 13.3" Macbook Pro, in fact I'm using it to write this. There is no 13in it's just the 13.3 inch, I got mine decked out all option highest upgrades, amazing laptop for the money, you never have to worry about viruses again and it's super fast. Great laptop I recommend it, considering it can compete with high end desktop computers. Mine is 2.7ghz, 8gb ram, i7 process etc.
