Hello....

so ive just bougth this iphone from gumtree (the seller isnt contactable)

Upon receiving the iPhone it has a password, i later find out that the iPhone also has find my iPhone on it so i cant actually reset it because of this app if i do a jailbreak or something is there away to get rid of this app so i can reset the phone and set it to factory settings or is that not possible?

please please help i spent alot of money and i dont have phone anymore! :/

Put it into dfu mode then restore it.

cant you just put it on itunes? restore it to new phone?

Can you not put it into DFU mode and do a full restore on the device.

Don't restore it or try to jailbreak it if you're on iOS 7. If you restore it while it has Find my iPhone enabled you'll get the activation lock. If you jailbreak it you'll get a boot loop and have to restore it anyway.

If you can still access the settings of the phone try this.



If you've already restored it and you're stuck at the activation lock then there is nothing you can do but hope someone develops a bypass.

yeah mates its iso 7, ive been reading online that if you put it in dfu mode apple servers save the IM number and you cant do anything about it ?

i dont have access to the settings the password on the phone prevents me from getting on it, or is there away to get around the passcodes in iso 7?

Just do a DFU mode restore, that should work
