Don't get your Shia Labeouf fanboy undies in a bunch. He quit acting, which is why he isn't in the movie, and this movie takes place 10 years from the 3rd one. Sam Witwicky can't look the same after 10 years, so they chose Mark Wahlberg as Sam's grown up self.
