Does it freeze in the same spot like on bootup?
Does it freeze when it gets hot?
Have you checked the wiring in it?

If it freezes in the same spot on boot it could be a bad flash.
But if it boots and freezes once hot you might need a gpu reball (that's how I fix it. A reflow might do it)

Or if the wiring is starting to cold solder than it is possible that could cause freezing.

I would play with wiring positioning if its a RGH, reroute the wires there are areas on the board that cause interference with the pulse sent to the CPU.

You cannot play with the wiring in a jtag. Only an rgh

Do not mess with the wires especially if you don't know what you're doing.

I don't think he read the part where you put "jtag" in op

If it was here at the shop, I'd reflow it then test for freezing majority of the time freezing is just another symptom of RROD ( hardware failure).

How much would you charge me to let you do that?
