I recorded and edited my video using Roxio game capture
the file is a .mp4 and no matter what I convert it to , youtube still does not accept it

Sony Vegas pro 12 is also not allowing me to open the file which is why I used roxio editing

an help will be very appreciated!

Try opening it in Movie Maker and changing it. That's what I did and it worked.
