That's my reason for getting an i7 2700k just a few months ago.

$85 for a mobo might not get you the best experience ever, but these will work.

If I were you I would get the Asus board and send in the rebate so it'll only cost you $80. Don't forget that you'll need an aftermarket heatsink if you want to do any real overclocking.
