Well, assuming that the soul even exists, who says it's yours to sell?
Biblically, all souls belong to God, and God has divine right over them, which is why when the rapture comes, he can choose to reject people from Heaven, you cannot choose to let your soul into Heaven any more than you could choose to sell it to Satan.

Q2: How do you do it?
I don't think you can.
You can't physically remove your soul because it's ethereal, so why would a ritual undo it's bindings over you?
Even so, when it has been removed, how would you choose where it went?

To my assumption I don't think when people say to sell your soul they actually mean your soul. I think what they mea is someone does what a higher power wants you to do strategically. Like people think that celebrity's get controlled to pass of proganderist things over the media to sway people's political thoughts.

i think I heard of when you do this, someone close to you dies.. But that was off of supernatural lol (i think)

you have your own free will, its not possible for somebody else to sell your soul and i heard you sell it to some crossroad demons or something like that.
