I saw a method of getting the Destiny Beta code for free through amazon by creating a fake email, and amazon account using info the fakenamegenerator site gives you. I figure this is isn't really looked kindly upon considering you are buying something, redeeming the code, then cancelling the order.

The question I have is, amazon has this thing from what I read that you can buy cards for live or money/MSP and get the code for the card through email/amazon immediately. I figure it would be illegal to do the same method as they did for the beta code, but I'm curious what the punishment would be if you were to get caught, and what the chances are of being caught.

So to sum it up, if you apply the method I said above to the MSP points/money, fake cc number, address, name, etc for an amazon account, a disposable email, and use that to buy the card off amazon, redeem the code, then cancel the order. What would the punishment be if you got caught and whats the chances of being caught.

I just want to say, I didn't do this but the method made me curious about applying it to this. Sorry if it wasn't clear, if you don't understand me fully, id be glad to try to explain it better.

You would probably just have to pay for the codes.

Really? Thats it? No legal actions? I figured ms or amazon or someone would take legal actions against it.

I doubt amazon would take legal action because it would cost more for them to press charges and deal with court than them just banning you or something.

Amazon would just ban the account and get the keys blacklisted, if not redeemed already. If already redeemed, they can't prove the person who redeemed them obtained them, thus won't deactivate.

Just letting you know this is Fraud, and after a while Amazon won't be stupid when they see the same IP filing for codes not working.
