Well I'm currently taking a class for entrepreneurship at my high school and our big project is to come up with our own company and create a business plan for it. For my business I decided to go with a Web Designing business that will be called Rocket Webs. Here is the logo I created for it (also part of the project). I really like flat designs and liked the way it turned out. Created completely from pen tool. What do you think of it?
I decided to make a second version to see what you guys think is better. This one I added some stars and changed the background color

the second one is better. take the shadows off, it throws off the depth. this will look a lot better completely flat and smooth.

When I take off the shadows in just looks too plain and boring
