Earlier I was skimming through this forum and saw a Re-Designed version of TTG created by a user named Axe. I really liked his design as well as the idea, so I figured I'd add a little something to it.
I kinda just threw this together real quick just to show the basic layout of what I think could be a cool re-design for the home page. Let me know what you think!

I like TTG now it looks clean but this style is better

Its good for a start, but you really need to work on the fundamentals of Web Design.
Web design is not about just throwing a really quick piece together, its about setting up a structure, and perfecting the smallest details. Also working to perfect the color takes a long time as well.
That one picture that I posted earlier took me about 3 hours to make, with all the fine tweaking and adjustments.
Just keep practicing, and keep on designing, and you will get better over time.

There are a few things I wanted to point out, as axe said above me its about the structure of the site not just throwing a few images together, not saying thats exactly what you did im just saying. but your home page consists of just news is shows xbox news and playstation news but naturally the homepage should consist of more than just news thats why there is a news page, you should try and tie in all the key factors to the home page so people can get almost anywhere from there. I dont know if I explained it right hopefully someone will get it lol, and maybe im wrong if so correct me I would love to expand my knowledge.
