every time I go onto nba my controller just won't work like none of the button or anything I've tried turning on and off my ps4 but it keeps doing the same thing

Have installed the most recent update for the game? It was suppose to fix this issue. I had the same issue all the time but I haven't had it happen once since I downloaded the update.
