They don't mind it as long as I am getting good grades, although they'd like if I went and hung out with my friends.

Definitely not. I yelled really loud when I used to play CoD. Couldn't blame them though lol.

Main reason is that I used to spend all night playing and I started to slack on work.

No way my parents hate my gaming they think that I'm wasting my time and that I could be doing other more productive things.

My parents have never been too strict and they didn't really care about how much I gamed unless my grades were bad. They are pretty reasonable so I have nothing to complain about.
