And yet it's still largely a death sentence. So called "improvement" in survival rates is mostly down to earlier detection. Fact is it's still slash, burn and poison that's dished out to cancer victims, providing huge revenues to drug companies. Such misery from this damned disease. All that money Blair chucked at the NHS - couldn't it have funded a cure?

There has already been numerous remedies to cure cancer out there. But Cancer is a big section to make money, they don't want individuals to be completely be rid of cancer, all they want is the cash. The FDA does everything in their willpower to stop these cures from going public. That chemotherapy will ultimately make you radioactive and kill you off in a few years. Where as there are other alternative solutions that aren't as hazardous as chemotherapy. Cancer is a big business, it will never be cured by capitalistic means.

He's right, they just the money. Hope the find the cure for cancer soon

This would be life changing to many people. It is one of the biggest health conditions and would save tons from losing loved ones.

Lets pray to god that this time they actually have a cure, i cant remember the amount of times they say they have a cure.. but nothing...

The problem with this is that they seem to say the have found a 'cure' every year for something that continues to ruin lives. I never seem to hear anything after the initial news report.
