When i plug my USB into my xbox it says i have 4.7gb free, however then when i plug it into my laptop, and try putting a file onto it which is only 3mb, it says i need 5.81mb free?

How can i fix this.

You might need to format your USB stick when you plug in into your laptop. Because that USB stick might have been formatted on the xbox. Hope this helped.

You need to reformat your USB to fix it. The PC doesn't recognize it anymore. I had this problem when I used my USB for a while with my old xbox. Just move anything you want to keep onto your computer. Then format the USB on your computer.

Yeah it because it is formatted on the xbox 360
Plug it into your computer and go to my computer and right click on the flashdrive and format it but be aware that everything on it will be deleted.

I worded that wrong, it thinks it's full because it has been formatted to the xbox, therefore the PC thinks it's full. A simple format on the computer will do the trick
