Very soon I'm buy my Alienware Laptop, Elgato HD Game Recorder, and editing stuff, but I want to get a JTAG with my stuff. I'll spend no more than $500 on it that will be my max. Someone help me out with places and prices, I'm in the US also.

Go to the xbox 360 marketplace, its a forum on this site. Check out the stickied topics at the top, they are trusted sellers. They will be more expensive, but they many of them have years of trusted service on this site and have been verified by admins. Alternatively you can scroll farther down the page to find other people that are selling JTAGs/RGHs as well. They will be cheaper, but many of them have not been verified by admins.
