I'm Haven't Jailbroken a Ipod for quite sometime now, its been years seance I've Jailbroken my Ipod Touch 2nd Gen(IKR), in a few days i might get me the Ipod touch 5Th generation. I was wondering if you can fill me in on some of these questions i have?

Is it still easy to JB the 5th gen Ipod Touch? And what programs do you need?
Is there a Lot of Freezing? Also Easily Bricked or no?
Does the JB still Cause low battery time?(my 2nd gen drains power more and faster then a non JB one that my friend has)
Do i have to keep on JB-ing it every time it powers off?(not sure just thought i might ask)
Any good new Apps worth installing from Cydia? What is this MovieBox?
Slow Timing with anything from unlocks to scrolling?

1) yes, in my opinion, the only easier jailbreak is the old thetechgame.org. You will need the latest version of evasi0n 7. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] make sure iTunes is installed. There is a sticky with a guide for it, if that doesn't help, youtube if filled with iOS 7 jailbreak guides.

2) I haven't had any freezing. I haven't bricked a device either. Really the only way you can brick it is if the home/sleep&awake button is broke. It shouldn't, but if it does get stuck in a reboot loop, put it into DFU and restore through iTunes. (YouTube for help)

3) honestly, That all depends on how many apps/tweaks you have. At the moment iOS 7.0.4 has good battery life, I've heard the 7.1 beta is having problems. My ipad lasts all day really.

4) no, it is an untethered jailbreak, meaning it stays.

5) like I said MovieBox and f.lux are great. MovieBox is filled with movies and tv shows. I mean, It has new movies like Lone Survivor, Catching Fire, Grown ups 2. Basically, like netflix on steroids. If you stick around these forums for a bit, you see more and more tweaks/apps become iOS 7 compatible (I'll explain this down there vvv)

6) once again, this really depends on how much stuff you have installed. I haven't had any slow animations.

Extra info) since iOS 7 is new, the jailbreak is new also. Just like the regular apps, the jailbreak apps need to update also. This being said, not everything is iOS 7 compatible. As time progresses, more things are being updated. When you're installing new things MAKE SURE you KNOW for sure the download is iOS 7 compatible, if not this could mess up your device.
