Okay so me and a buddy went online tonight, and we hopped into a game of domination. The game turned out to be modded and we both upped a prestige, (or two ;)). My question is are we going to get banned?

Absolutely not. You and your friend joined a random lobby and had no control over the situation. Even if you intentionally joined a modded lobby, the ones who are hosting (giving out the mods) are usually the only ones that get banned. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
