I was wondering if its possible to download garys mod to play prop hunt on a Mac os?

It doesn't matter that it's prop hunt.
The game is still Garry's Mod.

If you were to look on Steam, it has the Windows, Mac and Linux symbols, meaning it is compatible with those operating systems:

TL;DR: Yes, you can run Garry's Mod on a mac.
