I'm afraid to jailbreak and here are some questions:
1. My parents will be pissed can you hide it?
2. Will it effect something?
Thx
Ps. I'm using Evasi0n

when you jailbreak your iphone you can do mad fun stuff ,and no it won't effect anything and why would your parents be pissed off, if its your iphone you should be able to do what ever you want with it.

If you have warranty on your Phone or iPod with Apple then jailbeaking will basically get rid of the warranty. All jailbeaking does is install one app and won't be noticeable unless you install very noticeable tweaks. I'm jail broken right now and I really like it. It doesn't affect anything on your phone. It gives your phone a better experience. So I would but if your parents look at your phone and you're planning on installing a lot of tweaks then I would not because it can be noticeable.

I was in the same situation as you. Just don't be downloading things around them on cydia. Also don't download things that change it or make it super flashy, in which they will notice. If they ask why something is off about it, just say it is an app.

If youre young enough that you are concerned about your parents getting mad at what you do with your phone, you probably shouldnt jailbreak, or be on this site... Just saying.

DON'T DO IT! I jailbroke and my iPods **** up! There's no going back once you jailbreak, if you try to restore the iphone it will be stuck in DFU mode forever. Honestly it's cool to have at first but in the end you'll regret it!

Or maybe his parents have knowledge about jailbreaking and are worried about the 800 dollar phone they bought for their son? Stop acting ignorant for post count.

This is a complete lie hahahhaahaha youre just doing it wrong then. Ive NEVER once ever had a problem and ive jailbroken many many times on many many devices. If it get stuck in boot loop, you DFU mode it and restore it on itunes. Then restore your back up... Easy as that. Sounds to me like youre just stupid when it comes to jailbreaking.

If you restore your phone, it will go back to factory settings, not into DFU mode.. It probably died or something and you were too impatient to wait for it to fully turn back on. If the battery is COMPLETELY dead, it needs to have like thirty minutes to charge and power on.
