I have never been extremely active on the site, more of a lurker. But tonight I have become extremely bored and had an itch to program, so I decided to spice up the programming section, as it is my favorite section and is quite dead. This topic will most likely get buried, but owell. Also sorry for shitty grammar, its 3am while I'm doing this.

Well as the title says your going to learn hot to program a simple 2D game in flash. This will be rather simple as it will be most peoples first time programming in flash.

Some things you will need:

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , in my opinion the best Flash programming IDE. If you don't want this you can use any text editor, or Adobe Flash Builder.

And for this game to super simplify things we are going to use [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , a flash game framework.

And if you dont already have it, you need [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Step 1 - Setting up workspace

Step 2 - Adding a Player

Step 3 - Adding Coins

More will be added when i get more time to record the videos
