Last week when i was at my aunts i found an iphone 5 on the ground. I looked and it has a password set on it so i couldn't open it up to call one of the numbers on the phone to get it back to the owner. Ive waited a week and haven't received any calls or anything of the phone. Now i may as well restore it and use it since i cannot find the owner and it was found over 4 hours away from my house. When i go to restore it i need the persons Apple ID and password before i can restore it. Is there any way around this if i jailbreak it or anything? Please help, Thanks

I don't believe you can if this is iOS7, Apple added new security features which prevent anybody doing this sort of thing without the Apple ID and Password.

Sorry for the such late reply but no because Apple stopped signing the iOS6 versions.

Googled it, found this link.
Haven't read it in detail but I think an answer may lay inside.
