I don't see the point in having kids If you're going to abuse them like this.

Child abuse is completely wrong. Morally and socially wrong! If people have the nerves to take things out on a child then they have something mentally wrong with them.

There's a big difference between "Abusing" and "Disciplining." Neither is right, but sometimes its necessary, especially in modern day society. Spanking your child because they did something really bad, sure. Its actually legal to discipline your child as long as it doesn't leave any scars, bruises, etc. As a child, along with many others, know for a fact that when they were children they did things that gave their parents a reason to hit them. I have been a victim of being disciplined as a child. What was the result? I knew not to do it again. I grew up and learned from my mistakes. To this day, I'm grateful for my parents and how they raised me. Now I know how to raise my children, if I ever have any. I know what to do and how to treat them and minimize any physical discipline. I don't like the idea of harming a child, but it is an option for many. And a lot of the times, effective if used correctly.

However, flat out abuse and neglect like in the video. That is just pathetic. Especially to a child. Not to mention your own child. 4 years under the law? Obviously the law doesn't "care about children" as much as they make it out to be. Abuse and neglect like that deserves at minimum, 10+ years or more. They took away the kids childhood for crying out loud.

Kudos for Clayton though. He overcame it and it seems like hes moving on. This guy has my respect.

Very well written!
I totally agree with you, I have stressed the 4 years part over 20 times!
The authorities say kids come first but they dont take alot of action like the other guy wrote saying his next door neighbour gets abused by her parents.

Abusing kids and animals are the worst, since they can't defend themself or tell anyone about it. People who do this are the worst

This kind of stuff brings a tear to anyone's eye, child abuse should be punishable by life in prison, I mean come on, 23 months?? You can get more time smoking/selling weed , it's pretty sad they didn't suffer as much as they made him suffer, which I think is what should happen.

abusing children is wrong and if you ever see it in the streets you should report it! i reported my neighbor for it and she got a pretty hefty fine for it. shame she wasnt jailed!
