If you're throwing out the actual history and downfall of the Illuminati then OK, but if they wanted control wouldn't it have been more logical to create one solid religion under one unquestionable God?

God isn't going to give us proof of his existence because if he did then everyone would believe in God.
The whole point of there being Earth, Heaven, Hell is so that he can sort the good people from the bad.
If everyone believes in God, everyone would know that if they're bad they're going to Hell, so everyone would be good.
Which would render life on Earth and Hell obsolete.
