So I bought MW2 for the 5th time at gamestop a few months ago. Recently I noticed a small crack in the middle (I take amazing care of my games) and now my disk is unreadable. I still have the receipt, should I contact gamestop and inform them? I really don't want to buy this game again -.-

If you broke it your receipt is not valid.

Yea, that is exactly what you should do. If you didn't cause the damage to the disk And it was like that when you bought it they should replace it.

If you bought the disc like that then yes the receipt is still valid but if it happened after you bought it I doubt they will do anything about it

I have broke my game before.

I sent a letter to the publisher of COD BO1 (I believe Activision it was)

"My Black Ops 1 Broke, what do I do?"
In the letter/package I sent them my broken game. They sent me a brand new one. Saying

"No worries, etc etc, here you go Sal."

as long as it is within the 30 days, even if you broke it or it came like that, you can return it for your full money back or exchange.

Also, it is most likely your fault. The only way the disc could crack in the middle would be you taking the disc out of the case by barely pressing the middle button fully down. You are supposed to press it completely down and easily take the disc out.

Its worth a try, the worst that can happen is that they tell you no.

I would give it a shot.
