Well i just recently restores my laptop to factory settings. When i finish my track pad was active again. I have a hot key on my keyboard to disable it but it hasn't worked in a year. So it still doesn't work. What i did before was go into device manage and disable it. Sadly it isn't even there this time. I tried installing synaptics, it said i installed it but nothing happened. I tried going to the asus website. ( btw i have an asus g74sx laptop) to download there track pad driver. All it said was it wasn't right for my track pad. Any ideas as to fixing this? Or at least how to just hot to disable my track pad.
