Hey guys,

i bought myself a new computer a few days ago and i bought a SSD and forgot about a HDD (really silly i know) now i've got one coming but i've already installed a bunch of games on to my SSD, is it possible to just move the installed games from my SSD to the HDD without having to redownload them all? if you needed to know the SSD i've got its the samsung 840 evo 120gb.

Thanks in advance

If your games you have installed are Steam Games, then follow this process to move your games to another location

You'll have to redownload all Origin games. As far as I know there is no way to keep them when switching storage devices.

After having the same issue with EA games a couple months back, EA support informed me that there was no official way to transfer titles across drives without them breaking.

That said, I moved BF3 to a new drive, pointed the Origin game install location there and when I clicked download it found the game files. Worked for a bit, then died.
