95% of your dreams are things you want to happen I got told so I guess your having a bad time at the moment. Big things such as a huge change in sleeping pattern, stress, hidden emotions ect can all result to nightmares and bad dreams. Try to eat healthily and drink alot of water for a couple of days so your brain receives alot of oxygen, eat healthily aswell and you'll feel better about yourself giving you a better chance of having happier dreams. Depending on your age you should have a certain amount of sleep so get into a good stable routine of having 9 hours sleep minimum for a week and you'll get back on track. If its something psychological (for example my friends dad commited suicide and my friend had nightmares for months and woke up screaming crying and its effected him mentally) the i would seek councelling. I hope i helped

There's probably some meaning behind them. Try not to eat anything right before bed. (Don't feel bad if you can't, I eat all the time before bed.)

Have you had any events in your life that the dreams could be related to?

Apparently scientists claim if you sleep in a room below 50 degrees that you're more likely to have nightmares.

Who knows, Maybe you're being haunted? I'd try and think more logically before coming to that conclusion.

I suggest going to bed earlier than 12:30. I use to get really freaked and I would go to bed late at around 2:30-5:00. It doesn't help. An incosistent sleep schedule is unhealthy and actually can trick your brain into thinking things are real or not because of not enough sleep.

Sleep schedules should be 8 hours regularly.

Lets say 8am is your wake up time.
Go to bed latest 12:00am and earliest 9:00pm. If you miss you sleep time and go to bed at 2:00am STILL WAKE UP AT 8:00am! Do not take extra hours as it will be hard to continue a regular sleep schedule again! Trust me, I know!

1 main reason I use to have bad dreams was because I was always paranoid at night but the bad dreams stopped at about 13-14. I just generally think you need to think happy thoughts and you won't have any nightmares most of the time. Unless you were prone to having a bad dream near enough every night like I was when I was young god knows how I put up with it.

I wouldn't say you where being haunted because I don't think ghosts can controll your dreams but they have a huge influence on them! if you keep thinking about the ghost before you sleep and worrie about it you are more likely going to dream about it. Take a diary to bed with you and write down what you would like to dream about before you sleep, read the dream over and over again so you get a good solid picture of it in your head and sleep with the diary under your pilow,if you wake up in the middle of the night imediatly write down what you remember and anytime you wake up write down what you remember, you should have a log of your dreams over the week and just keep going back to that original happy dream you wrote down and keep trying to dream about it everynight
