2k and it is time to go mad (if the link doesn't work I'm writing the specs down below)
Intel i5 4670K
Asrock Z77 Extreme LGA
Corsair H100i
Fractal Design Define R4
Seagate 2TB HDD
Seagate 240GB SSD
2X GeForce GTX 770
Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1000W PSU
16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM
Just ignore this kids build!
May I ask why? just wondering. It's not like these parts are bad...

... Why? The build seams pretty good. I don't see why he shouldn't at least take it into consideration.

For a start a 4670k isn't going to work in a z77 board...
Dominator platinum, as good as it looks, is far to expensive to spend on ram.
Likely to run into scaling issue's running sli, for the price of 2 770's OP could pick up a 780/780ti, even go the AMD route and pick up a 290x. Money is also saved as a 1000W psu wouldn't be needed in a single card build.

Terrabytez wrote ok, change the motherboard. Motherboards are my area of least knowledge.

RAM, he has the money so why not.
yes a single card may be a better option but again if he has the money then why not.
'why not' doesn't justify wasting money.
OP, you could consider something like this:
$1.7k total, cooler and motherboard will allow you to get decent overclock's, if you get a decent chip.

with this build he could go with another 780ti and be right around at his 2.5k budget if it costs 1.7k as you said
