You can dupe a vehicle from one of your character to another.
Step 1: join a friends game
Step 2: park a vehicle you want to dupe to second character
Step 3: park it by a friend
Step 4: switch characters
Step 5: go to friend and you vehicle will be there on second character
Step 6: get in vehicle and take it to your garage
