i have an Xbox One and I do love it, but if you're hardcore gamer I say to go for the PS4.
The way I see it is Xbox is all about entertainment, its an entertainment system that just plays games. But the PS4 is a gaming system with some entertainment on the side. The PS4 revolves around gaming more than the entertainment portion.
The only reason I didn't get the PS4 is because I've been an Xbox fan boy my whole life, and I can't see myself switching.

The prices will go cheap ish sometime next year i think then they will get lower and lower ;)

Loving my Xbox one, can't go wrong with it, and the games are amazing. The controller is my only complaint and I'm just knit picking at the RB and KB buttons, they're just awkward to press. Everything else feels great
