Power the console on by pressing the eject button, this should boot it into xell, you should be able to see your CPU/DVD keys there.

Thats exactly what i have been doing for about 20 minutes man, the disk tray just closes after about 15 - 20 seconds everytime

I was wondering if there is a seting to keep it opened?

The disk drive closing should not be an issue as long as Xell stays up. However if you have your original NAND image flash you can recover it from there.
