Honestly, you should go with the one you feel you'll have the most fun. I've given up my xbox fanboy title and went for the PS4 when Microsoft bombed E3 with garbage.

I don't regret my choice although I think the TV feature is awesome and will miss Halo and Forza.

My friends went with PS4 and PC as the console of choice and I will be getting my XB1 in about 2 years or so.

Gameplay wise I personally believe you're wrong. If you're talking graphics please just stop. If you're talking exclusives, PS4 has some great titles but Xbox One is matching them with games like TitanFall, Forza, Halo, and many more. Sony is doing great, and good luck with whoever has or is getting a PS4. But I think Microsoft won this battle.

im going with xbox, because of course there is the gaming aspect of it, but then it is so much more then just that. Yes I completely agree sony has it locked down as far as a hardcore gamer, but I consider myself casual at best, I like apps and watching videos. The Kinect integration will become the future of entertainment, though it will probably take a year or more before people are completely onboard with it. I have been with Xbox since launch for the original, so I am biased. but not completely ignorant to flame Sony. Plus if I remember correctly, something about the projecting holograms in the future was on ign several months ago. I feel like Xbox is more future proof.... for me. that's my opinion. Look at a few comparison charts and get a good idea about both consoles. Regardless of what anyone's opinion is, its YOUR money and time that will be spent on it. Honestly I have the same problem as you. I love what Xbox is doing and it is becoming the future of gaming and multimedia. But unfortunately, the PS4 is cheaper which means more of your friends that aren't as educated on the consoles, will end up buying the cheaper one. What I think I'm going to do is, just follow what my friends are doing for now, because both of these consoles will still be up for years, so deciding what you get today doesn't mean you can't get one in the future. - NowLegit

this is actually one of the first times in my 2 year tenure on this website that im glad to be apart of conversation. people speaking with intelligence and not treating each other worthless. notice my very low post count, is only because I try to avoid that aspect of forums. I understand most people can only afford one, if any at all. But its like religion, If your right and im wrong, I deal with the consequences, if your wrong, you deal with them. i dont get why people hate the xbox ones design not fanboying it but IMO it looks better than the ps4s design but then again your not gaming on a console design your gaming on its software but if i were you i would go with what your friends are getting.
