Yeah, possibly instead of getting the second one terabyte drive I would 128 or 256GB SSD. Instead of the case you chose I would personally go for a Fractal Design Define R4 but the case is totally up to you as cases are a very personal choice. The reason your $1200 computer is bas is most likely because your friend didn't know what he was doing when he built it for you. I built my computer last year for $800 and it runs most modern games very smooth with high graphics settings.
